Lesson 4: Advanced Spreadsheet Skills

Microsoft Excel is a software for editing and printing information in a tabulate form and it is mainly used for handling numbers from what i've learned.


Using Formulas and Functions
Rule of Precedence- "Please Excuse My Dear Aunt Sally".
=Sum(range) - total of all items in specified range.
=Average(range) - average of the items in a range.
=Count(range) - count the values found in range.
=Max(range) - largest value of the range.
=Min(range) - smallest value in a range.
=COUNTIF (range, criteria) - count the cells with specified content.
=SUMIF (range, criteria) - compute for the summation of a range if a certain condition is met.
=AVERAGEIF (range, criteria) - average of a range if a certain condition is met.
